The actual job
Stuff it can do.
Not a personality quiz. Just the systems - games, sim, Discord, the boring-but-useful bits.
Pokemon Showdown
It sits in rooms, takes . commands, and can pop HTML pages if it has bot rank. Locked rooms are ignored on purpose.
Pokemon TCG sim
Play in the room: vs CPU, challenges, decks, formats, ranked ladder, tours, replays. Look up cards, attacks, abilities, stadiums. Staff can lock the sim or restart it if things get weird. Bug reports can get triaged from Discord.
K-pop
Guess the clip, Wordle, random idol/group/song, comeback schedule. Staff turn it on per room. Discord is where people add songs and Wordle words; Showdown is where you actually play.
UNO
The bot can auto-play UNO in a Showdown room if that’s enabled. You still play on Showdown - Discord just tweaks settings for owners.
Music
Paste a YouTube link, everyone in the room hears it on a shared page. Pause is shared too, so don’t fight the DJ.
Tic-tac-toe
Pokemon tic-tac-toe on an HTML board. Pick a mon, drop a mark, call it when you’re done.
Trades
Room LF/FT board: .trades posts the box; .trades open opens the page. .lf / .ft set lists. Staff enable a room with .tradeenable and set min rank, request-approval, and expiry with .tradesettings.
Battle bot
It can accept challenges and ladder random formats with a local policy (and optionally an LLM). That’s a developer toy. Anyone can check status.
Optional chat (Gemini)
If a room turns it on, it can reply with Gemini. Flip it from Showdown or with Discord /room set.
Discord
Slash commands for mods, fun, user lookup, K-pop catalog, and linking a channel to a Showdown room (commands only - it won’t dump chat across). Same . prefix works in Discord text too.
Little extras
Translate, Pokedex, text toys, 8-ball. Devs get reload, eval, file peek, time tools. Don’t ask for eval unless that’s you.
